For The Patient
AxelaCare Reimbursement Specialists will:
- Obtain initial and ongoing insurance authorization as well as reimbursement assistance throughout the patient course of therapy.
- Review all available coverage, plan limits, and billing process with carrier.
- Look into both your Major Medical Plan and Your PBM card(pharmacy Benefits card).
- Provide a dedicated AxelaCare “Coach” for reimbursement, pharmacy and nursing support.
- Work with you on customized payment terms.
- An Axela Care nurse will schedule your infusion.
- An AxelaCare Pharmacist will provide you with your medication and supplies
- Your nurse will come to your home and administer your treatment. You schedule your next visit with your nurse. We work with your scheduling needs.
AxelaCare offers a 24 hr on call Pharmacist and Nurse for any questions concerning your care.
